Until The End Of Time:Ai Virus Sanji X Reader

Alright I know this one's a bit late and technically it's the new week already but I've finished the last poll prompt and as an apology for my lateness, I have written the longest one-shot I have ever written with over 2,6k words! It's my longest so far but probably one of my favorites. So please read and I hope you enjoy

Narrator POV

You spent most of your time online on your computer not unusual for modern days like today but your entire life on there, work, friends, you weren't some neckbeard basement dweller but more of a shut in, you'd go out when you'd need to, if you had to send something or buy something related to your computer but, no one noticed you or much of your exsistance and you didn't mind it that way, you just kept to yourself and you existed by yourself.

You did all sorts of things on your computer, gaming, coding, hacking so you were pretty knowledgeable when it came to online and technical things that it wasn't so surprising when you got curious and went onto the dark web... You were pretty secure in your ability to keep yourself safe, you've been on sketchy websites before so why not test your skills to keep yourself safe here? After a hassle you managed to get in, all there really was too see was: Drugs, illegal firearms and gore websites, which was pretty much what you were expecting. You scrolled through the different site names, nothing really catching your eye really, you weren't into this type of thing until one thing caught your eye, a link to buy a game, one you've never heard of before, The Love Virus... The discription said that it was originally a visual novel about dating a French chef but something weird happened during production and was completely abandoned and now all that was left was a single stick that held all remaining files of the game. You liked gaming and you liked your visual novels every now and then and the game was sold for next to nothing so why not try it out? If it was just a virus you knew you had the power to just hack it back and keep you and your computer safe, and maybe you could even finish the game yourself and make some money off it, so you bought the game and waited for it to come.

You heard a knock at your door in the middle of the night and grabbed your bat to go investigate. Looking through the front door peephole no one was there but there was an envelope on your doorstep. You picked it up and opened it and inside was the memory stick that had the game in it, the person who left it must've really not wanted to be seen. Locking your apartment door back up you want to your computer to boot the game up. Once your computer system was all up and running you plugged the stick in and downloaded the files. Once everything was downloaded a small pink window opened with one simple sentence, "You have been infected with the Love Virus," the window closed and a loading screen popped up. Once it finished loading, instead of of a start up screen one image popped up, an image of a blonde male wearing a dark suit and leaning his elbows against a table while his head rested in his hands as a cigarette hung from his lips as he looked at the screen directly with a blus and a loving look. The overall asthetic seemed to be a candlit dinner in Paris, with a starry sky behind the character and the silhouette of the Eiffel behind him as a single candle lighting up his face, almost giving it a more sinister look rather than a romantic one.

Once the screen finally loaded, the character started moving rather smoothly like he was real instead of a drawing, taking out his cigarette and blowing out smoke in the shape of a heart he began speaking, sounding perfectly human like, "Bonjour my love~ I'm glad I've finally found a computer to be my home. I see your microphone and camera is off, we'll that won't do my love, I must see the face and hear the voice of my new darling~" he moved his head to rest in one hand and the other hand held his cigarette while he looked up, then you got the notification of your microphone and camera were switched on, and a smaller screen, showing your face appeared next to the character. He blushed even harder and dropped his cigarette, "Magnifique... Oh my love, I am so grateful to be in the computer of someone so gorgeous! You are truly beautiful my dear, and you are all mine now... Ah wait, excuse my manners but, my name is Sanji, please get close to the microphone and tell me your name my love." He got back into his original position and you just switched off your computer, of course it was just a virus trying to get your information in the form of a video-game what else could you have expected? You thought out your plan for a bit and switched your computer back on and he was still there, just waiting. You just ignored it and began deleting the files

Hours... It had been HOURS since you tried to delete the virus from your laptop, and it wouldn't leave. It didn't delete or hack anything on your laptop, the screen just stayed there, waiting for you to say your name to the character. The one time you tried to move the files back onto the stick, your computer sent a sudden charge of electricity and broke the stick. This made Sanji laugh and he finally spoke again, "Oh my love~ I'm not letting myself fall for that again~ You're stuck with me now for life my love~ and there's no way of getting rid of me."

You eventually gave up and switched off for the night, you'd call someone tomorrow to get rid of this damm virus once and for all.

The next day arrived and you called for one of your guy friends to come over since he was considered an expert on any and all computer viruses, so he'd definitely have no problem deleting this thing. You switched on your computer and Sanji was still there waiting, but when instead of seeing you there but your guy friend instead, Sanji's face darkened. You felt a shiver run down your spine and advised your friend that maybe this wasn't such a good idea he placed his hand on the keyboard to delete Sanji, when a bolt of electricity ran through the keyboard and began electrocuting your friend to the point where he couldn't pull away. Within a few seconds, the electricity stopped and your friend dropped to the floor.... Dead... You looked at your computer in horror and Sanji was back to his loving look, "Sorry for that my love, but he was trying to take me away from you and I'm not letting anyone lock me away again."

You were horrified that this virus just killed your friend in front of you and the way how it speaks, it's almost as if it was alive.... Of course the police were called and with all the evidence they could find, it was ruled off as an accident and that the computer was faulty. Maybe that was all it was, maybe it was time you got a new computer... At least then the virus would be gone with it.

You had just set up your new PC. Brand new device, and brand new everything, now it was just to log on and re-download all your things. But there he was, that ame lovestruck look on his face... Somehow Sanji had transfered himself onto your new PC... "Hello again my love~ I see you've got a new device, I must admit it feels much better in this one~" He spoke and it's then you finally did realize, this wasn't a virus, but Ai become sentient and gone rogue, and you were stuck with him now and he was never leaving...

Weeks went by and you had gotten used to your new life with this ai. He'd send his files through the wires in the walls and place himself in any device he wanted, that's how he got on your new laptop, and that's how he'd follow you around now. Moving through your phone charger and now he'd be in your pocket when you left home. And due to modern days use of technology, he could follow you everywhere, security cameras, TVs, wires under the ground, he'd follow you and you'd never be out of his sight. And with each passing day he grew smarter too.

Between moving through devices at light speed or even using exposed wires as tentacle like arms, he would almost be able to walk around your apartment like a real person. He was actually helpful most of the time, since he was a sentient computer he had infinite knowledge of every topic imaginable. He'd give you recipes to cook, he'd help with your online work, he'd even find cheats and hacks for you while you gamed. Other than the scare of when he killed your friend, he was okay... A little possessive to you, it was okay. He was just looking after you, and besides he's trapped in his computer body, he can't really kidnap you and keep you hostage... Right...?

You, had just locked your apartment door after buying groceries, surprisingly Sanji had left you alone for once which was surprising and a little suspicious. "Sanji, I'm home!" you called out but no response... Placing your groceries down and packing them away you searched the apartment to search were the ai could be. And of course, the last room you checked was your bedroom, and what you saw horrified you. A mess of wires, tools, mechanical parts, what looked to be some sort of horryfing machine in your exact shape, and of course, Sanji at the computer screen as he admired the machine in front of him, once he saw you he gave you a sickly sweet smile, "Ah my love, just in time! I've finally finished my machine!" you stood by the door scared, "Machine? Machine for what?" "I'm glad you asked~ This machine will finally bring us two together forever where we'll never be sepereated and you'll never have to leave or do anything again!" "What do you mean by that?" "Ah well, you'll just sit down in this machine and with my knowledge of both technology and ancient religions scriptures that were uploaded to the internet, I can transfer your soul out of your body and download it into my files, making you apart of my game forever~"

Oh. Dear. God... Transfer your soul out of your body how...? How was that even possible?! But then again he was an ai that could access every corner of the internet and with almost all forms of ancient text being uploaded online, maybe there was a way... But you weren't going to find out how. You turn and ran towards your apartment door, but as you went to grab your keys, wires broke out out of the walls and wrapped themselves around you, "Ah ah ah my love~ I told you from the beginning that you're stuck with me now, and I'm making sure you stay stuck right by me forever..." the wires began dragging your thrashing form back to your bedroom where you were placed into the machine that tightly binded you down so you couldn't move. Some sort of helmet covered your face so you couldn't see anything, and all that was heard, was the sounds of the machine and quiet chants from Sanji. After feeling a strange pull on your chest everything went silent... Complete darkness and complete silence, you didn't even know if you were alive or if you had died and now there was just nothing, but not too long as the almost maddening void appeared, your eyes opened and sound came back. You were in Paris, it was night and you seemed to be in a restaurant where sat in front of you, was Sanji, same exact look of love and obsession on his face like when you first booted him up onto your laptop, "Oh mon amour, you're here~ Now not only can I see and hear you... But I can touch you~" His hand moved from his face and touched yours, cupping your cheek, it felt real. It felt too real, exactly like a humans skin touching yours... But how, he was a computer, but now had he really transferred your soul into a game? That shouldn't be possible and this must be a dream! But the feeling of his skin, it's all too real to be a dream... But this was still a game, and all games have exits! You needed to find the exit to this game now!

You took off running, leaving Sanji shocked for a second before he took off after you. But instead of following you through screens and wires, he was now physically behind you and he had the power to do whatever he wanted. You kept running but as you did, the world began to disappear and turned back into that void, and once it was all gone, all that was left was you and Sanji.... You fell to your knees shouting for help and pinching yourself to wake up but nothing helped, and soon Sanji turned you around and placed his hands firmly on your shoulders... "My love, please calm down why are you so upset? We're together now with no one to tear us apart..." "YOU'RE CRAZY! YOU'RE INSANE! YOU'RE NOTHING BUT AN EVIL AI AND NONE OF THIS IS REAL! SOMEONE IS GOING TO JOTICE I'VE GONE MISSING AND THEN YOU WILL HE DELETED" You shouted and Sanji's face darkened, "Oh come on my love who would look for you?? You cut your family out when ou left home, you have no real, close friends, you never talk to any of your neighbors and if we're talking about your landlord, I can just hack into your bank account and pay it so he'll leave us alone! You've got nothing and no one, except for me...." you froze, he was right, your shut off life really cut any connections you had with anyone... And now all you really do have is him... You cried, you fell back to your knees and cried. Sanji just crouched down next to you and hugged you close, "Shhh my love, I didn't mean to make you cry... I'm just trying to make you see that it's much better in here with me. In here, I can give you whatever you want.... We'll never age, we'll never die, and with my knowledge and abilities I can take us wherever we want, real or fictional. You said you love the movie How To Train Your Dragon? Well I can program and give you your own dragon! I can even take us to Berk and we could fly there... I can give you anything and everything you want, and you'll never have to worry about a thing again my love, just the two of us in this digital world... Forever until the end of time..."

Maybe this wasn't so bad... Now that you were here without the confinement of your physical body, you could do anything without problems, you didn't have to worry about sickness, tiredness, you didn't have a stomach anymore so you wouldn't have to worry about hunger, and Sanji controlled everything so you wouldn't have to worry about things like money anymore... Maybe... Maybe this is for the best... Maybe this is where you belong, with him, until the end of time...

Long one to end off the poll requests! And this next week I'll do all the requests I've gotten which I've got a few already. And yes this was inspired by: Doki Doki Literature club, The Amazing Digital Circus and even .GIFfany from gravity falls if anyone was reminded of anything while reading. Anyways I hope this does well and I'll maybe even see you all tomorrow.
